Kolby left for Chicago today. He is serving his "new" mission there until November. It was so hard to say good-bye again but we are so excited for all he will learn!!

Home Sweet Home
Kolby's sudden return home surprised us all! We rearranged the bedrooms, bought a bunk bed and tried to make everything comfortable for him. He wanted to play his violin first!
Kolby needed to keep busy so he decided he was going to move and restore an old shed we had in the back yard. He worked outside rain or shine and the shed turned out so beautiful! He made a custom door, installed a new window and painted it the same color as our house.
This project however only took him a week, so he was on to the next one. I mentioned I was wanting to buy garden boxes but they were so expensive. I showed him the ones I wanted and he told me he could build them!
This project wasn't enough-he needed to keep busy, and this only took a week as well. So he decided to build a bigger shed which we have wanted for a long time! He worked every day rain or shine, and even made a beautiful custom door! It really was fun to have a project going on, and everyone helped whenever they could.
He left before the deck was finished and the paint was done, but by the time he came home in November it was all completed!
He was home for my birthday, Logan's birthday, Preston's birthday and Mother's Day...but the weeks went quickly and he was called to a new mission!
